We sell quite a few race trailers at Right Trailers, and every driver/team has different features they like. Escape doors are nice because the driver doesn't have to remove the door in order to get out of the car once they drive it into the trailer. Air conditioning is nice for the track, especially with teams working out of the trailer all day long. An awning is nice to provide some shade for your team. In this article I want to share with you 5 really cool features about the Performax Lift Gate Stacker that may cause you to consider it for your next race trailer.

1. The Second Level Provides More Space

The Performax is very impressive when standing next to it and is even more impressive when inside of it. The Performax Lift Gate Stacker is a full sized stacker trailer and that means more storage space over all.

With the full sized second level it's feasible to think about storing, not only, a second car in the upper level but also tires, an engine, a transmission, and hoists as well. Realistically with all the storage space, top and bottom combined, one can imagine taking the entire garage with them to the track. Ramp lift stackers and belly lift stackers provide limited floor space over all, and the lifts in the middle of the trailer remove the possibility of some cabinet configurations, which are not limited by lift gate stackers. This leads me to the next feature.

2. Cabinet Space

Drivers will tell you there's nothing more infuriating than getting to the track having something go wrong with your car and realize the tool you need to fix it is in a completely different state. That is why cabinet space and tool boxes are a must when talking about race trailers.

The Performax offers a completely customizable cabinet layout that will allow enough storage to house all of your tools, and I mean all of your tools, fire suits, and even fold out desks where you can fill out all of your paperwork, or run diagnostics with your laptop.

3. Pro Awning and Electric Awning

A pro awning system seems pretty standard when considering a race trailer. It provides shade for an entire team while working from front to back.

On days when you're just testing and don't want to bust out the pro awning, with the Performax, you can simply flick a switch and roll out the electric awning.

4. The Lift Gate

The lift gate is a full sized lift gate. You simply drive your car on the gate, lift it up to the second level, and drive it in. It's that simple. The Performax lift gate also offers a wireless controller so you can stand back as the car is lifted into the air.

The lift gate also lowers all the way down to the ground to accommodate cars with low clearance eliminating the need to drive up steep ramps

5. The Performax Is Just Plain Fancy

When you're out on the circuit for months you want to feel like you're at home or better wherever you're at, and the Performax delivers on that. With an ice-cold A/C Unit, UHD wall mounted TV, and an AM/FM/Bluetooth Stereo with speakers on the inside and outside, being at the track won't seem so bad.

Doors at both the front and rear of the trailer insures your teams have enough room to enter and exit without bumping into each other.

The space that this unit has feels like a home/garage on wheels and provides the high end feel that a racing team needs.

The Performax Lift Gate was recommended to us by race car drivers, and we are proud to offer it for purchase starting in November of 2021.  This unit is so packed with features it was difficult to decide which ones to focus on for this article, but if there is one thing you can take away is that the Performax will provide you with everything you need and everything you didn't realize you needed.
